Gene Ween Band, 2009-04-15, Boston, Mass

This is the Gene Ween Band. They play good fun songs. We saw them last night. Gene is kind of mellow when he's alone, and the experience is interesting. Ween is greater than the sum of it's parts. That's about all I can say. The crowd was mostly dudes. It was a little strange venue called the Paradise. We had a nice spot on the side.

Oh yeah did I mention I met Dave from Ween? He plays bass for Ween and here he is. Picked up a really nice poster, had 3/4 of the band sign it, minus Gene.

The Grumps

Played with The Grumps a couple weeks ago. It was sweet. Nice stage, good sound, and the place was called "Club Texas." Sooooo many Jager posters.

What's Happening?

The other day I found an empty beer can she left in the shower. It reminds me of something I would do. It's still in there. Then I said I was excited for Football season. She said anything shy of a Superbowl in New England this year is a waste of time, and just messing around. I agree.

Attitash

This is an image of The Valley from a trail on Attitash. (two cell phone pix spliced together) I was there on Saturday with my Dad and it was epic. I really need a new board for next year. The one I was on is 10 years old and far too short for me. I have a hard time stopping, grabbing turns, landing, and it's also falling apart. I fell a lot due to lack of grippage on the ice. Attitash is sweet though, there are some nice slopes, it would be great to ride after a snowstorm. Getting to bear peak is a giant pain in the ass. Huge flat section that requires you to unclip and push.

Mornings

I'm strange. Sometimes I'm a morning person. Sometimes I'm not. Today, I am not. This morning I heard Eddie scratching in the shower. This usually means He's about to poo. I jumped out of bed and into the bathroom. I stuck my hand in and turned on the water. There was a commotion, and Eddie jumped out. She discovered his gift. You win this round my feline friend. Sassy frassy.

KITTEN!

When we first got Lilly she was tiny. This is the first time she met Eddie.

Lilly says no opening christmas presents early.

Lilly has no problem finishing our food, she loves everything, including straws and feathers.

Eddie had a crazy look in his eye when he saw his baby sister Lilly walking around for the first time.

Lilly likes the spot in front of the heater. It keeps her warm!

According to varied reports and sources, Lilly is all over the place.

This is Eddie and Lilly yesterday, doing what they do.

They messed up the bed pretty good looking for something... not sure if they found it.
